This project promotes development of evaluation equipment for magnetic and electrical properties of MRAM development and its shipping inspection (Project leader: Toei Scientific Industrial Co.Ltd., Translational research representative: Prof. T. Endoh) under the project for the promotion of bridge between research institutes and small and medium-sized companies and research institutes funded by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The increase in electric energy usage become a serious social problem recent years and the MRAM is expected to dramatically reducing this power consumption. In order for smooth transition of MRAM from R&D phase to commercial mass production, an evaluation equipment is essential for its shipping inspection. This project aims to develop a set of 300mm wafer evaluation equipment system for enabling electrical and magnetic characterization of MRAM under magnetic field and contribute to foster the spread of MRAM use.
